HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY TO US!

Celebrating our birthday here at Mine & Yours looks a little different this year. A time where we would normally throw an in-store soiree and invite all of our incredible customers, suppliers, friends and family in to celebrate just isn't an option this year due to COVID changing plans! We are dedicating this birthday to our community this year by giving away a $700 gift card on our Instagram page and sharing your favourite Mine & Yours memories. We'll start the virtual celebrations with a letter from our owner, Courtney Watkins.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for all of the love and support over the past 7 years. Reaching this milestone would not be possible without every single one of you. Our birthday this year has me reflecting a little more than usual with everything we've had to navigate through together. Every time you've liked our post, every time you've shopped online or in-store, every time you've told a friend about us, has helped more than you know! Our community will always inspire us to keep moving forward. I can't wait to show you what the future holds for Mine & Yours. Happy Birthday to us, but today we celebrate you!

I have several stories, but a couple gems would be that I got my very first pair of Louboutin’s at Mine & Yours. They were a staple piece I wore a lot when I worked at my law firm. -- A more recent story is how amazing the team has been over the past year helping me shop goodies from Halifax while I’m going to school. Megan knows my taste and always sends me photos of new good pieces when I feel like some retail therapy, and I’ve saved her notes that come in my boxes!

There’s so many memories with Mine & Yours. I’ve been able to curate a fabulous collection of unique lux pieces off the mainstream circuit for a fraction of the price and far more sustainable. But I guess my favourite memory if I had to choose is winning the Mother’s Day give away and I bought my mom her first Gucci bag.

CHRISTINA LOFRANCO

I first stumbled upon Mine & Yours when I had just freshly moved to Vancouver and was roaming aimlessly downtown exploring my new city. Not to be dramatic or anything, but it was love at first sight. I couldn’t believe the endless selection of Designer items and how they were in such excellent pre-loved condition. Since that time, I’ve traded in so many of my own trendy designer items and have been able to use store credit to buy classic pieces that will last me a lifetime. 

My favourite purchase to date has to be my latest - a Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Monceau 28 Bag. I was in the shop trading in some items and then I saw him. He was vintage, chic & timeless and I know in that moment that I had to have him. Luckily my trade in value almost covered the entire price so I felt like it was basically free (lol!) This is definitely a bag that will never go out of style and I can cherish in my closet for years to come.

KARISSA PUKAS

My first purchase was the black YSL medium collage bag - I was overjoyed to find out you could trade pieces in to build credit. Since then M&Y has been my go to for when I’m looking for a piece. I’ve checked off most of my designer wishlist over the past few years by being patient and continuing to bring in pieces that could use a new home. I love supporting a local, female owned/run business; especially one that supports sustainability in fashion.

Thank you again to our incredible community for the love and support, especially during this past year. Everyday you inspired us to keep pushing forward and for that we will always be eternally grateful!
