MEET ERAND MORINA

@erandmorina

Where or who do you get your fashion inspiration from?

I’m a person who’s easily influenced by my surroundings, I love taking inspiration from my friends and coworkers.

I also can’t forget queer artists who have helped me be more comfortable in my skin, so I am able to explore my style with women’s clothing as well, since clothes don’t have a gender!

What is something on your dream closet wishlist and why?

Saint Laurent black leather trench coat! I’ve always wanted one long enough to hit the ground. I think they just exude the perfect amount of drama that I need in my life.

How would you describe your personal style?

I try to marry my masculine and feminine energy in the clothes I wear. I believe fashion has no gender, and as a femme identifying gay man, my style reflects this. I love mixing masculine pieces, like a blazer, with something feminine, like a skirt, or heels. I thrive on an eccentric sense of fashion and try to reflect the colorful, fun, and femme world I'm a part of in the outfits I wear.

What is something on your dream closet wishlist and why?

I think I want either an Alex Yu dress or a custom Evan Clayton piece. To me, these two are changing the Vancouver fashion scene. They create without apology and they create for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Their visions align with my belief that fashion has no gender and their pieces are also just so F* cool.

JAMIE PANDIT

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style is a fusion of bold, vibrant, boho but also a sense of refined elegance with a touch of sexy. I love mixing classic pieces with contemporary fashion trends that work on my body type and make me feel good regardless of a “trend”. I aim for looks that are both empowering and expressive, reflecting my journey and identity as a transgender woman. Whether it's a chic jumpsuit or a tailored blazer, my style is all about celebrating diversity and individuality with my own twist.

What is something on your dream closet wishlist and why?

On my dream closet wishlist is an array of Chanel pieces. I absolutely love the classic vibe that Chanel offers. From their iconic tweed jackets to timeless handbags, Chanel epitomizes elegance and sophistication. I have my eye out for a pink, as well as a red bag preferably in caviar or calfskin.

I am also looking into getting a Hermes one day because not only is the look so elevated but the resale value is absolutely insane!
